Donjoy Double Seat Mixproof Valve is designed to allow two different products to flow through the valve at one time without risking cross-contamination, provides the safety, separation, CIP capable and leakage detection. Hygienic design meets US 3-A standard. It is widely used in food processing industries, mostly in dairy and beverage. Mix Proof Valve is remote-controlled by means of compressed air. The valve is a NC valve.

Sanitary Double Seat Mixproof Valve working principle
● Lift type mixing proof valve is remotely operated by compressed air. It is normally closed before running.
● The mixing proof valve is constructed with two independent plugs, which will form a leakage chamber to atmosphere under normal working status. When occasional failure causes leakage happens, the medium will flow into the chamber and be discharged at the outlet port.
● The leakage chamber is closed when the valve is operating, the medium can flow through one pipeline to another. This valve can be clean in place. Many options of CIP and SIP combination are available to users. (Refer to cleaning sterilization function options)
● Clean system can clean the upper, lower stem and leakage chamber, which ensure the valve to be high hygienic. Effectively cleaning system makes the fluid that special for (CIP) clean in place directly wash all the inside calve body, it takes shorter time than common cleaning system.
● Another benefit of the high cleaning system is that the lift type mixing proof valve can be applied to aseptic processing. If user’s steam into CIP pipeline, the system will constitute a shield that can isolate air.
